Ken Wright is Marietta born and bread through and through as he attended both Waterman St. Elementary and graduated Marietta High School in 1974.
Attended Kennesaw Jr. College.
Graduated from the University of Georgia.
Has worked his whole life in and around the state of Georgia.
- Building new sidewalks as well as repairing old sidewalks to improve walkability.
- Reworking traffic patterns to alleviate rush hour traffic and prevent dangerous through traffic.
- Improving lighting throughout the Square to improve safety and visibility at night.
- Adding crosswalks and pedestrian signage across active thoroughfares such as Roswell Rd. and Fairground St.
Across the board both Marietta residents and merchants are feeling the effects of rising property values and increased millage rates year after year. Ken pledges to work with the City Council to help stabilize property tax increases. This will lessen the burden for the generational working class families that make up the heart and soul of authentic Marietta.
Ken appreciates any and all support that his friends and the people of Marietta are willing to offer. However, Ken will not be accepting any monetary donations during this campaign, all he asks is that you go to the polls in support.
The date is approaching fast and we hope to see you at the polls!
